Located on the outskirts of Sihanoukville and away from the heavily visited Ochheuteal and Serendipity beaches, the Sokha Beach Resort is a large 5 star beach resort with all the expected facilities and amenities. Its 176 rooms are set across a large complex on the private Sokha Beach while the resort provides its guests with the option of a wide range of activities.
Sokha Beach Resort provides a fusion of a modern hotel complex with traditional Khmer design. The Lobby has a large Khmer style roof while the majority of the accommodation is in two western style wings, with rooms having either a garden view or sea view.
There are a number of categories of accommodation available. All feature a private balcony with a dining area, wooden floors and furnishings, a separate bath and shower and spacious living areas. All are fitted with king size or twin beds and are equipped with all the modern amenities.
The resort has a centrally located swimming pool with its own bar, a wine bar and three restaurants, one of which is a beautiful beachside seafood restaurant. The wine bar provides entertainment in the evenings, including traditional Khmer dance lessons.
The Jasmine spa is well equipped with the usual range of treatments and therapies. Activities and excursions on offer include Sea Kayaking, Banana Boat riding, Tennis, Jet Skis, a gym and a kid’s club and children’s playground.
